Donor Recognition

When donors would pay a visit to the largest public garden in the state of Iowa, there was no way to easily locate the item they had donated. To solve this problem, the staff at Reiman Gardens decided to use cutting edge touch screen technology from Green Touchscreen.

Donor Information

By utilizing an interactive Green Touchscreen kiosk, visitors can search for donors or honorees by name. The interactive kiosk will then display a photo and biography of the honoree/donor as well as a picture and description of the item. Visitors can even use the kiosk as an interactive map that allows them to locate different areas of the gardens.

Donor Kiosk

Unlike traditional signage, Green Touchscreen Kiosks can be easily updated. Objects and their associated donors can be added, relocated, or removed as the garden changes. Garden staff use a secure interface to rearrange the objects and update donor lists and biographies. These live updates will appear immediately on the kiosk.

Ames, IA

“The Green Touchscreen donor recognition kiosk will help our guests to better navigate the 14-acres of Reiman Gardens, and provide detailed information about the hundreds of items provided with private gift support that otherwise would not be part of our beautiful landscape and collections, “ said Teresa McLaughlin, director of Reiman Gardens.

Every Green Touchscreen kiosk is internet based, so that they can be viewed from any computer. This allows contributors to be recognized via the World Wide Web as well.
